Working Across Bias
Who Are You?
In this session, we dive into the world of implicit bias, how are biases impact our work with families and clients, and what we can do to confront bias. One of our most-requested, highest-impact trainings. Can be tailored to your specific group (parents, teachers, child welfare workers, etc)

Rethinking Challenging Kids
Kids do well if they can, not because they want to. This is a mod-able exposure to Collaborative Problem Solving, a response to challenging behavior grounded in evidence and relationship. Ed Morales is the only certified trainer of Collaborative Problem Solving in Minnesota, and has presented this model to more than 1500 people across the country.

Creating Safer, Braver Spaces
How do we as parents and professionals respond to a world that is too often unkind to the hopes and dreams of our children, and especially our children of color? In this session, we take a look at what it means to be an accomplice, and how we can create safer, braver spaces for our kids and ourselves.

De-escalation & Crisis Management
This is a story of our brains. Specifically, it’s a story of what happens to our kids’ brains when they catch big feelings and big behaviors. Learn more about the origins of challenging behavior, what happens in your child’s head, and what we can do to calm the storm. Great for school staff and parents.

System-Involved Families
In 2016, I became a first-time parent to two remarkable teenage girls. Since then, we’ve gone through both a child protection investigation and an assessment. In this presentation, learn about the experience of child protection from a parent who has been through it and lived to tell the tale.

Self Care is a Lie
It has long been said that self-care is the antidote to burnout. In this session, we challenge the very concept of relying on self-care to maintain ourselves and workforce and turn our attention instead toward the concept of personal and professional sustainability.
